THE RUNDOWN
SAN FRANCISCO – The University of San Francisco's women's basketball team is headed South to San Luis Obispo to participate in the ShareSLO Holiday Beach Classic hosted by Cal Poly. The Dons (1-2, 0-0) are slated to take on Robert Morris (1-2, 0-0) first in a Saturday match up set for 2 p.m. In it's second contest, USF will rematch with the host team, Cal Poly (1-2, 0-0). Tip-off will be at noon. 

SCOUTING ROBERT MORRIS

• The Colonials are 1-2, just as the Dons are
• Back-to-back defending Northeast Conference champions
• First meet up in program history against USF
• Coming off a win, the Colonials most recently took down Northern Kentucky, 59-50
• Nneka Ezeigbo leads RMU, averaging 15.5 points and shooting 56.0 percent in her two appearances, 
• Ezeigbo also tops in rebounds per game with 8.5
• Megan Callahan is also registering in double-digit scoring (10.3 ppg) 

SCOUTING CAL POLY

• Gave the Dons their first win in an 83-71 season opening contest
• Senior guard Lynn Leaupepe leads the Mustangs in scoring, averaging 16.8 ppg and rebounding with 6.5 rpg
• Leaupepe is one of two players averaging double-figures in scoring, joining junior center Devin Stanback (11.8 ppg)
• Leaupepe's twin sister Dynn is registering 8.3 ppg and 4.0 rbg

DONS QUICK HITS

• Four Dons are registering in double-digit scoring, led by Shannon Powell with 15.7 ppg
• Powell is also averaging a team-high 6.7 boards per contest
• Kalyn Simon (12.0), Anna Seilund (10.7) and Michaela Rakova (10.0) join Powell in averaging plus-10 points
• Simon tops in three-point range, hitting 7-for-14 (.500) 
• Seilund adds 10.7 ppg and leads the roster in assists per game (5.7)
• As a team, USF shoots and makes more three-pointers than opponents, 21-for-71 compared to 18-for-57
• The Dons have been recording high-scoring first quarters, outscoring competitors 57-48, including a 23-12 first quarter against UNC in their last contest
