SAN FRANCISCO - The University of San Francisco women's volleyball team dropped a match, 0-3, to Santa Clara on Friday night at War Memorial at the Sobrato Center. The Dons (3-23, 0-13) could not find an answer for the Broncos (13-12, 6-7) as they were unable to pick up a set.

STATS OF THE GAME

• Carly Lowry led the Dons with five kills.
• Kate Ashman added four kills on a .400 hitting percentage. 
• Erin Anthony recorded her eighth double-double of the season with 18 assists and 11 digs. 
• Anthony's 11 digs topped the roster for USF. 
• Marjolijn Oskam earned a game-high five block assists. 
• The Dons hit sub-.100 for the first time since Sept. 26 versus Saint Mary's.
• USF out blocked the Bronco's 7-4. 

WHAT'S NEXT
The Dons are set to stay in the Bay Area in the coming week, with two West Coast Conference matches next up. First, it's Loyola Marymount on Thursday, Nov. 9 at 7 p.m. Following the match with the Lions, Pepperdine visits the Hilltop for a Saturday afternoon contest. First serve is set for 12 p.m. against the Waves. Both Pepperdine and LMU swept the Dons in their first meetings.
