SAN FRANCISCO – After a six-day break for the holidays, the University of San Francisco women's basketball team is set to start West Coast Conference play tomorrow against San Diego (7-4, 0-0) at War Memorial at the Sobrato Center. After a match up with the Toreros, the Dons turn around to take on the Portland Pilots (4-7, 0-0) on Saturday.

USF (5-6, 0-0) is coming off of a tough 54-56 loss against UT Arlington. Once behind by 19-points in the first half, the Dons fought back to take the lead, but eventually fell to the Mavericks.
The Toreros most recently took down UT San Antonio, 78-69. They lead by double-digits most of the contest, thanks to shooting 49.0 percent on the contest and having three San Diego players score in double digits.
SCOUTING SAN DIEGO
- San Diego is coming off a 12-day break. They most recently defeated UTSA, 78-69, making a 2-0 win streak.
- The Toreros are currently seated second in the WCC with a 7-4 record.
- SD has four players averaging 10-plus points per game, led by Aubrey El-Ward with her 14.2 points per game.
- El-Ward also leads in assists 3.82 per game.
- Maya Hood is tops on the roster bringing in 6.5 boards each contest.
- The Toreros are allowing opponents 64.5 points per game, including a 33.3 shooting percentage from three-point range.
DONS BY THE NUMBERS
- Anna Seilund leads the Dons with her 13.5 points per game. She also ranks first on the roster in assists, dishing out 5.45 per contest.
- Michaela Rakova (12.1) and Shannon Powell (11.1) are also scoring 10-plus points per game.
- The Dons are seventh in WCC play with a 4-5 record.
- USF is tops in the WCC with 69 three-point field-goals made.
- Coach Goodenbour's squad puts up 7.1 treys per game.
- The Dons rank in the top-five in four categories including defensive rebounds (2nd, 28.0), three-point field-goal percentage (3rd, 32.9), rebounding offense (3rd, 41.9), and scoring offense (5th, 72.3).
