AT A GLANCE
SAN FRANCISCO - The Dons are headed south today as they travel to Irvine and Long Beach, Calif. to compete in the UCI/LBSU Invitational.
USF is coming off a tremendous weekend in which they defeated CSUN and Fresno State each in five-set matches at War Memorial at the Sobrato Center. The Dons then traveled to Sacramento State on Tuesday and recorded a loss to the Hornets. In this tournament, the young squad will have an opportunity to focus on winning on the road as they are 0-3 when they are on the move. Â
This weekend's three matchups will serve as USF's final tune-up before starting West Coast Conference action on Sept. 21 against San Diego at War Memorial at the Sobrato Center.Â
