The University of San Francisco men's basketball looks to defend the War Memorial at the Sobrato Center as longtime rival Santa Clara comes to the Hilltop on Thursday evening. The Dons and Broncos will be televised on NBC Sports Bay Area, it is the eighth straight time the Dons have been televised. The game against the Broncos will be sponsored by Arguello Market.

TOMORROW'S GAME
The Dons enter tomorrow's contest with a 10-9 record and have lost two-straight for just the second time all season. USF is fresh off a 75-65 defeat at the hands of No. 15 Gonzaga last Saturday. As a team, USF is averaging 69.1 points per game while shooting 41.1. They are holding teams to 67.1 points per game and 42.8 percent. Freshman
Souley Boum is leading the team in scoring, averaging 14.6 points per game. He's toped the 20-point plateau five times this season, the last a 22-point performance against No. 15 Gonzaga last Saturday. The Broncos enter Thursday's game riding a two-game skid after falling to Saint Mary's and BYU at home last weekend. For the season, Santa Clara is 6-12 with a 3-3 mark in the WCC. As a team, SCU is averaging 68.6 points per game while shooting 42.8 percent from the field. Four players are averaging better than 10 points per game and are led by KJ Feagin's team-leading 17.3 points per game.
THE SERIES
The Dons and Broncos are one of the West Coast's oldest rivalries, having played 221 times in a series that dates back to the 1908 season. All-time the Broncos own a 114-107 advantage in the series. Last season, Santa Clara took the series advantage 2-1, with both teams splitting the home contest and the Broncos getting the tie breaker at the WCC Tournament, winning 76-65 on Mar. 3, 2017 at the Orleans Arena.
