2017-18 (FRESHMAN): Selected to the West Coast Conference All-Freshman Team…played in 36 games, making 12 starts for the Dons…the 36 games played is tied for fifth all-time in a single season…finished second on the Dons with 10.9 points per game which was 25
th in the WCC, fourth best among freshman…played 732 minutes...his 394 points is second all-time by a freshman at USF, trailing only Winford Boynes’ 542 points scored in 1975-76…his 121 made free throws is a single-season record by a freshman at USF…his 47 made 3-point field goals is fourth-most in a single-season by a freshman at USF, trailing Ali Thomas, Jordan Ratinho and Charles Minlend…scored 20 or more points seven times…scored a career-high 26 points twice, first against Portland on Dec. 30 and again against Colgate in the first round of the CBI on Feb. 5…had 17 games with 10 or more points…made his USF debut on Nov. 10 against Long Beach State, scoring 22 points…made his first career start on Dec. 23 in the win over Nevada securing a tournament championship in the Continental Tires Las Vegas Classic…averaged 17.3 points in three contests against Gonzaga…in WCC play he averaged 10.2 points per game which is third on the team and 26
th in the WCC.

Karega Hart…named a composite three-star recruit by 247sports.com…that same website rated him the No. 36 prospect in California…a three-time Oakland Athletic League Player of the Year…he averaged 21.2 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game his senior season while shooting 53 percent from the field and 49 percent from 3-point range…that year he was named to the MaxPreps All-Northern California Fourth Team, as well as the Third Team All-Bay Area News Group.
