MTN | Dons are on the Road for the Mountain Pacific Invitational

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- The University of San Francisco men's tennis team is on the road for the Mountain Pacific Invitational in Albuquerque, N.M., beginning on Saturday, March 3, with the Dons start the tournament with a match against Wichita State. Both days are scheduled to begin at 9 a.m.
GAME INFORMATION
Date/Time: Saturday, Mar. 3 at 9 a.m and 2 p.m. and Sunday, Mar. 4 at 2 p.m.
Teams: New Mexico (host), Hawaii, Wichita State, Grand Canyon, Lamar, Pacific and Brown
Site: McKinnon Family Tennis Stadium and Linda Estes Tennis Complex
COACHES CORNER
"This has been a good tournament every time [the Dons] have been there, so we are really looking forward to it. It is going to be high-elevation tennis so we are going to have to play smart."
USF HISTORY
Last season, the Dons finished fifth at the Mountain Pacific Invitational. USF started with a 4-1 loss to Pacific, but bounced back with a 4-1 win over New Mexico, and finishing the invitational with a 4-2 victory over UT Arlington. The Dons swept the invitational in 2015 with wins over Hawaii (4-0), Fresno State (4-3) and New Mexico (4-3).

The Dons are at the Olympic Club on Tuesday, Mar. 13 to face Army. First serve is at 11 a.m.
