The University of San Francisco men's basketball team will take on host North Texas in the finale of the 2018 College Basketball Invitational on Friday at the Super Pit in Denton, Texas. Friday's game will be televised on ESPNU with Roy Philpott and Jason Capel on the call.

TOMORROW'S GAME
USF and North Texas are tied 1-1 in the best of three series with each team taking the game at their house. Friday's game will remain in Denton, Texas, to win the CBI the Dons will have to defeat a team that is 13-6 at home. USF fell to 4-8 in road contests with Wednesday night's 69-55 loss to the Mean Green.
Nate Renfro scored his 500
th point in the second half of Wednesday's contest. USF now has five active players with 500 or more points,

Freshman
Souley Boum moved up into third all-time by points in a single season by a freshman, he surpassed legendary Don Bill Cartwright who scored 375 points in 1975-76. Boum now has 388 points, he trails Quintin Dailey by five points for second all-time.
If the Dons get the win on Friday night they will become the first NCAA Division I team to win three different postseason tournaments. The Dons own two NCAA Championships (1955 and '56) and an NIT Championships (1949).
THE SERIES
The series is tied 1-1 following North Texas 69-55 win over the Dons on Wednesday. The home team has taken both games in this series that dates all the way back to Monday.

Friday's contest will be the 2017-18 finale. The Dons can capture their first postseason tournament championship since 1956 with a win.
