
Dons Co-Host Meadow Club Women’s Invitational Monday

SAN FRANCISCO – The University of San Francisco women's golf team, coming off a strong final round at the Bruin Wave Invitational, return to action on Monday when they co-host the Meadow Club Women's Invitational with San Jose State.

The Dons are going with the same fivesome as last week: seniors Vanessa Ha, Emily Laskin, Kimberly Liu with sophomore Samantha Gong and freshman Joan Soewondo.
At this tournament last year, the Dons finished 12th with a team score of 908. Ha, playing as an individual, was the low USF player on the leaderboard, finishing tied for 21st. Laskin finished 30th overall at the tournament, posting a 10-over 226. Liu finished 60th. Gong finished tied for 66th.
Last time on the course, the Dons moved up five spots on the leader board on the final day. Ha and Laskin finished tied for 36th, while Liu, Gong, and Soewondo all had dramatic moves up the leaderboard.

The two-day tournament is located at the Meadow Club in Fairfax, Calif. The par-72, 6,157-yard course will play host to a talented field that features the Dons and Spartans as well as Colorado, Cal, BYU, Washington, Washington State, Oregon State, UC Davis, Michigan, Illinois, Minnesota, Boston College, Idaho, Cal Poly and Gonzaga.Coaches Minute ??
