THE SERIES VS. Fresno State
USF leads the all-time series with Fresno State, 13-8. The series dates back to the 1952-53 season when the Dons traveled to Fresno State. The Dons won nine of the first 10 series - recent history has belonged to Fresno State having won three in a row and six of the last seven. On the road the Dons and Bulldogs are split 6-6, however, USF is winless in its only two trips to the Save Mart Center, falling 52-43 on Dec. 27, 2003 and 65-60 on Dec. 29, 2005. USF's last win in Fresno came on Dec. 8, 1999, 69-59 at Selland Arena. Last time out, USF fell to the Bulldogs 78-71 at the Save Mart Center on Nov. 19, 2015.

Devin Watson finished with a career-high 24 points for the Dons while Tim Derksen (11) and
Chase Foster (10) also reached double figures for USF. The Bulldogs scored the first eight points of the game and took a 37-27 lead into intermission, largely on the strength of Guerrero's four first-half 3-pointers and icy shooting by the Dons.
