MORAGA, Calif. -- Following their upset victory over defending champion Santa Clara, the USF Dons women's soccer team (4-4-2) lost their conference opener on the road to Saint Mary's (7-1-2) 2-0 at Saint Mary's Stadium. The Dons offense struggled to get anything going against a staunch Gaels' defense who've been tough to score on all season.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT:
- The first half was a defensive battle with each team holding the other off the scoreboard.

- Saint Mary's tacked on another goal six minutes later courtesy of Emily Jensen.
NOTABLE PERFORMANCES:
- Goalkeeper Molly Eby had an active game in goal as she recorded seven saves on Saturday afternoon.
- Jensen had an impactful night for the Gaels as she scored their second goal of the night and assisted on the first from DiGeronimo.
