FRESNO, Calif. — The University of San Francisco women's golf team finished in seventh place Tuesday at the Fresno State Classic, shooting a team score of 300 in the final round of the tournament at the Copper River Country Club.
The Dons shot 895 (+31) through three rounds in their first tournament in a month, and their last tournament ahead of the 2021 West Coast Conference Championship.
Sophomore Hannah Zeman was the Dons' top golfer for the second straight day, finishing tied for 23rd with a three-round total of 222 (+6). She shot five-over 77 in Tuesday's final round. Annika Borrelli (73-78-74) and Pearl Rojanapeansatith (74-74-77) both shot 225 (+9) for the tournament and finished tied for 35th.
Joan Soewondo posted the Don's best round of the day Tuesday with a one-over 73. She finished tied for 42nd after scoring 226 (77-76-73) with steadily improving rounds throughout the tournament. Toni St. John finished tied for 50th with a three-round total of 229 (75-78-76).
The Dons will compete at the 2021 WCC Championship on April 22-24 at the Reflection Bay Golf Club in Henderson, Nev.
