WHATS THE STORY
• The Dons looked to extend their streak of .500 or better soccer for a fourth year when they take the pitch on Sunday. The Dons are coming off a 4-4-2 in the spring, thanks to a thrilling 1-0 win over Pacific on Senior Day.
Â
• In the annual preseason coaches' poll, the Dons were picked to finish seventh with 38 points. The Dons are without a preseason All-WCC honoree, but return
Sydney Cooper and
Catherine Hill who were named to the 2020 WCC Second Team. Also back and another year older are returners
Jayd Sprague and
Marissa Vasquez who earned All-Freshman honors this past spring.
SUNDAY'S CONTEST
Sunday will be the sixth ever meeting between the Dons and the Ducks. All-time, Oregon leads the series 2-1-2. Last time out, USF defeated the Ducks 1-0 on Aug. 28, 2015 up in Eugene.
