DONS AT A GLANCE:
- USF is searching to find the recipe that made them very successful in non-conference action as the team won lost only once in their first 10 matches to begin the season.
- The Dons as a whole have faired well playing away from the Hilltop this season, as they've posted a 4-2-1 overall record in true road matches in 2022.
- A key piece for the Dons throughout the season has been the steady and reliable performance from sophomore defender Allison Kamansky who leads USF with 1,100 minutes played this season as she's started in all 13 of the Dons' games this season and has played the entire 90 minutes in all three of the team's conference games this season.
SCOUTING THE WAVES:
- Pepperdine's early conference have been a mixed bag as they've won, drew and lost so far this season as they defeated San Diego, tied with Gonzaga and came up short against #15 Portland.
- On the offensive side of the ball, the Waves boast an impressive roster with three student-athletes having scored at least five goals so far this season, as senior midfielder Carlee Giammona leads her team with 13 total points this season with three assists to go along with the five goals.
- In goal, the Waves are led by junior Ellie Sommers who has played well for Pepperdine this season as she's recorded 33 saves and has played in each of the Waves' first 11 matches this season.
