DONS AT A GLANCE:
- USF had a great week as they've found their footing in conference play by securing two draws and a victory in their last three matches as the Dons' offense has emerged to put pressure on the opposing defenses.
- On the offensive side of the ball for the Dons, Kaylin Lunsford has pieced together a tremendous season for USF as she's second on the team with four goals scored this season as she helped USF secure a 1-1 tie against Pacific last week by finding the back of the net.
- In goal, Kira Ybarra had a strong week as she allowed just one goal against the Tigers at home before earning her first collegiate win in So Cal in the team's victory over LMU. In six matches played this season, Ybarra has recorded 26 total saves for the Dons.
SCOUTING THE TOREROS:
- The Toreros have had their fair share of struggles this season as they've won just two of the 16 matches they've played this season with victories over CSU Bakersfield and UC Irvine under their belt.
- Offensively, San Diego has been led by freshman forward Cameryn Maddox who is the team leader with three goals, two assists and 28 shot attempts at the front of the Torero attack.
- In goal for USD, freshman Sophine Kevorkian has played in 16 matches and made 15 starts for her team as she's recorded a total of 80 saves on the season.
