SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The University of San Francisco volleyball team (8-10, 2-4) concludes its three-match homestand when it hosts San Diego (9-7, 5-1) at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14 at War Memorial at the Sobrato Center.

DONS AT A GLANCE:

• Coming off a week break from competition, the Dons faced off last Saturday against Loyola Marymount at home.
• Aylen Ayub and Hayden Goodman led the Dons offensively against the Lions, combining for 11 kills, with Ayub posting a .750 hitting percentage from the setter position.
• Defensively, the green and gold continue to lead the WCC in total digs, accumulating 303 as a team in six conference matches. 

SCOUTING THE TOREROS:

• San Diego, coming off a 3-1 loss at Loyola Marymount last Thursday, the Toreros are currently in third place in the conference standings.
• Isadora Tercariol, the reigning WCC Offensive Player of the Week, leads her team and ranks first in the conference in assists per set with 10.52.
• From the service line, the Toreros lead the WCC in services aces, averaging 2.38 per set and tallying 38 services aces in total over 16 sets. Amber Stivrins contributes to this lead, ranking first in the WCC with nine service aces in six conference matches. 

SERIES HISTORY

• San Francisco has totaled six wins over San Diego since the 2002 season, last defeating the Toreros, 3-0, at home on October 30, 2014.
