Dons Wrap Up Regular Season in Napa
4/5/2023 6:00:00 PM | Women's Golf
NAPA, Calif. – Playing their second tournament in a week, the University of San Francisco women's golf team competed until the final hole as the Dons finished fourteenth overall as a team at the Chevron Silverado Showdown at Silverado Resort and Spa in Napa this week.
TOURNAMENT RESULTS:
"I'm proud of the fight in this team as we competed against the strongest field that we have seen all year long. The golf course was extremely tough as you can see by the scores, across-the-board. That said, we were able to beat some teams that were ranked better than us and this will certainly help our ranking moving forward."
UP NEXT:
USF will use the next few weeks to regroup as the Dons will compete next in the West Coast Conference Championships at Gold Mountain Golf Club in Bremerton, Wash. from Thursday, Apr. 20 through Saturday, Apr. 22. Live results of the tournament will be available via the team's schedule page.
