SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - Wrapping up a quick two-game homestand, the University of San Francisco women's soccer team (4-5-1, 0-1-1 WCC) will host Portland (6-2-3, 1-0 WCC) on Wednesday night for a midweek matchup at Negoesco Stadium.

DONS AT A GLANCE:
- After opening conference play last Wednesday with a 1-1 draw with San Diego, San Francisco fell to Santa Clara in a 4-0 match on Saturday, Sept. 28. Six Dons fired off shots in the match, with Lindsey Chau tallying the green and gold's lone shot on goal in the 74th minute.
- Following one week of WCC action, Chau ranks in the top ten in the league in shots per game (10th, 2.5) and shots on goal per game (8th, 1.5).
- In the young WCC season, Kira Ybarra ranks third among goalkeepers in saves per game (4.00) and fifth among WCC goalies in total saves overall (38).
- Wednesday night's match against the Pilots will mark the green and gold's last home game for three weeks as the Dons will be on the road for two games before returning to the Hilltop on Thursday, Oct. 24 to host Gonzaga.
SCOUTING THE PILOTS:
- Starting off the season 2-2-1, Portland has not lost a match since August, having posted a 4-0-2 record throughout the month of September, most recently opening up its conference slate with a 3-1 win against Saint Mary's this past Saturday.
- Leading the offensive charge for the Pilots this season, graduate student Hailey Still leads Portland with seven goals and 14 points on the season, tied for first in the WCC in both stat categories overall.
- As a unit, the Pilots lead the WCC in total points (73), total goals (27), total assists (19), and goals allowed (seven), with senior Bre Norris ranking second in the league overall in both goals against average (.722) and total saves (43).
SERIES HISTORY:
Since 1986, Portland holds a 31-4-2 all-time series lead against San Francisco. Recently, both programs are 3-3-1 in their last seven meetings with the Dons holding a 2-0-1 record in their last three matchups against the Pilots on the Hilltop.
