MALIBU, Calif. – The University of San Francisco beach volleyball team (2-5) headed south and faced off against Pepperdine (2-3), Boise State (7-3), and Vanguard (4-7) at the Malibu Invite on Friday, Mar. 1 and Saturday, Mar. 2 at the Pepperdine Beach Volleyball Courts.

Starting with a midday matchup on Friday against host and WCC foe Pepperdine, San Francisco dropped all five dual matches as the Waves picked up a 5-0 win. After the Dons dropped their second match of the weekend to Boise State, 5-0, the green and gold powered to a 5-0 sweep of Vanguard, picking up their second win of the season.
