RENO, Nevada – The University of San Francisco women's indoor track team continued its season this past weekend, competing in the Nevada Wolf Pack Classic, hosted by Nevada, on Friday, Feb. 7 and Saturday, Feb. 8 at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT:
- The Dons had 13 athletes participating in their third indoor competition of the season.
- In the 3000 run, Josi Seerig had a big performance, finishing second out of 20 competitors with a time of 10:09.27.
- Three other Dons raced in the 3000-meter run as Marlee Kwasnica placed ninth with a time of 10:57.28 while Kennedy Bartee (11:05.33), and Abbey Lotz (11:18.90) finished 12th and 13th, respectively.
- San Francisco had another top-five finisher in the shot put as Lilly Gerhard placed fifth out of 24 competitors with a 13.23 m mark.
- Competing in multiple events, Emilka Chrastinova placed 17th out of 31 in her section for the long jump, recording 5.27 meters. She also placed 48th in the 200-meter dash at 26.64.
UP NEXT:
San Francisco concludes the indoor track and field regular season in Seattle, Wash., when it competes in the Husky Classic on Thursday, Feb. 13 - Saturday, Feb. 15 at Dempsey Indoor.
