Men's Golf Battles Through Stormy Conditions at El Macero Classic

EL MACERO, Calif. - The University of San Francisco (USF) men's golf team battled through stormy conditions in the Central Valley this weekend as the Dons finished eleventh overall at the El Macero Classic at El Macero Country Club.
TOURNAMENT RESULTS:
San Francisco will begin postseason play at the 2026 West Coast Conference (WCC) Men's Golf Championship at Green Valley Country Club in Fairfield, Calif., from May 1-3. Live results will be available via the team's schedule page.

TOURNAMENT RESULTS:
- William Svanström led USF, tying for 25th at 6-over-222 (77-74-71) and carding an eagle in his final round. He and Svante Palmgren each had eight birdies.
- Theo Anderson finished one stroke behind Svanström, tying for 30th at 7-over-223 (73-72-78).
- Svante Palmgren returned to the lineup, tying for 45th at 9-over-225 (74-75-76), while Nils Svanberg finished just one shot back, tying for 51st at 10-over-226 (75-74-77).
- Renato Naula tied for 87th at 18-over-234 (78-77-79), posting seven birdies, second only to Svanström and Palmgren.
