2013 CROSS COUNTRY: Raced once for USF during the 2013 cross country season ... turned in a 21:08 6K at the Wisconsin Invitational Oct. 19, where the Dons finished 10th.

2013 TRACK AND FIELD: Did not compete

2012 CROSS COUNTRY: Competed in two meets for the Dons...came on strong at the end of the season, helping the Green and Gold win the conference and come in 5th place overall at Regionals...ran a 20:43 at the West Coast Conference Championships 6k, finishing 7th overall and 4th fastest for USF (10/27) and then running a 20:26.67 at the NCAA West Regionals, finishing 3rd fastest for the Dons.

2012 TRACK AND FIELD: Earned a spot in the 2012 NCAA Track & Field West Preliminary Round in the 5000 meters... broke the USF school record in the 5000m with a time of 16:23.89 at the West Coast Invitational (5/12)... also set a USF school record in the 3000m with a time of 9:14.43 indoor at the Last Chance Indoor Qualifier (3/3)... posted a personal best time of 4:32.62 in the 1500m at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational (4/27).

2011 CROSS COUNTRY: USF’s first cross-country All-American enjoyed most decorated season by an individual in program history… ran five races for the Dons in first collegiate season… matched the USF all-time best runner-up finish at the West Coast Conference Championship in a program record 20:23 (6k)... placed 25th at the NCAA West Regional in 20:55 (6k)... set the program standard for the top finish and time in the NCAA Championship with a 26^th place showing in 20:31 (6k)... All-WCC First Team, All-NCAA West Region, Division I All-American (first ever for USF).

PREP CAREER: Placed 14th in the 5000M at the 2011 Under-23 European Championships and 27th in the 2010 Under-23 European Cross Country Championships (6K)... Estonian National Champion in the Under-23 1500M, 3000M and Cross Country in 2011... Estonian National Record holder in the Under-23 5K at 16:34... has personal bests of 2:12 in the 800M, 4:27 in the 1500M, 9:25 in the 3000M.

PERSONAL: Laura Suur... daughter of Sirje Suur... born in April of 1990... chose USF because she likes the small university and loves the city of San Francisco, and because the training style is similar to what she has done previously... goals include breaking 16-minutes in the 5K and 4:20 in the 1500M, as well as qualifying for the 5K in the 2016 Olympics and represent her native Estonia internationally... major is Biology.
