Lorenzo Cumplido was born on January 7, 1950 and attended USF in the class of 1974. He played soccer for the Dons from 1971 to 1973. He was a member of the 1973 West Coast Intercollegiate Soccer Conference Championship team. The Dons opened the 1973 season with six straight wins and finished the West Coast Intercollegiate Soccer Conference with a perfect slate at 7-0-0 for the Championship. In fact, the only teams in WCISC competition to stay within two goals of USF were San Jose State, who fell 4-3 to the Dons, and Santa Clara who lost 3-1.

He graduated with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and afterwards worked as a Landscape Architect. He is currently living in Guadalajara, Mexico. He was inducted into the USF Hall of Fame in 1993.
