Final Team and Individual Results
REDMOND, Wash. -- USF's women's golf team shot a final round 308 to finish sixth at the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational which was held at the Sahalee Country Club outside of Seattle.
The Dons' final team score of 611 was one stroke better than seventh place Columbia and three strokes back of fifth place Colorado.
Washington cruised to the team title with a 36-hole score of 571 (-5), good for a 19-stroke victory over second place Stanford (590). UC Davis finished third at 598 followed by Gonzaga at 606.
Washington's SooBin Kim claimed medalist honors with a 8-under score of 136 after rounds of 69 and 67, claiming a nine-stroke victory over teammates Jennifer Yang (145) and Eimi Koga.
The tournament was shortened to 36 holes due a lengthy fog delay during Tuesday's opening round.
Ayaka Suzuki was USF's top finisher as the sophomore tied for 14th with a 4-over score of 148 after closing with a 75 on Wednesday. Suzuki picked up birdies on holes No. 4 and 14 but was victimized by a double bogey on the par-5 sixth.
Vanessa Ha tied for 20th at 151 (+7) after a final round 77. Her lone birdie came on the par-4 seventh hole.
Sophomore Alison Lillie shot a 79 in her final round and tied for 31st at 155 (+11). Lillie had an uphill climb all day after making bogeys on five of her first seven holes. She managed to pick up her lone birdie on the round on the par-3 fifth hole.
Junior Clare Sorensen tied for 45th at 157 following a closing round 77, which was highlighted by back-to-back birdies on holes No. 1 and 2, her 10th and 11th holes of the day.
Senior Michelle Condry finished 63rd at 170 following a final round 81.
USF will wrap up its fall season at the Las Vegas Intercollegiate Showdown, scheduled for Oct. 27-28 at Stallion Mountain Golf Club.
