ST. GEORGE, Utah -- USF shot a final round score of 296 on Tuesday to finish fourth at the BYU Entrada Classic held in St. George, Utah.
At 886 for the 54-hole event, USF finished five strokes behind third place Boise State (881) and 10 strokes out of second place held by BYU (876).
California won the team event with a score of 856 (-8).
BYU's Alex White shot a final round 68 to claim medalist honors with a score of 208 (-8), earning a two-stroke victory over Cal's Lucia Gutierrez (210).
Vanessa Ha, who was the 36-hole leader at 6-under par, settled for a share of fifth place following a final round 77. Ha, who posted rounds of 70 and 68 on the Estrada at Snow Canyon layout on Monday, could not offset five bogeys on her Tuesday card and slipped into a tie for fifth place. It marked the freshman's second top-10 finish of the year while the 215 (-1) score was a career low for a 54-hole event.
Clare Sorensen shot an even par 72 over her final 18 holes to move 16 spots up the leaderboard into a tie for 17th place at 224 (+8). The junior from Roseville made a birdie on her final hole of the day, the par-3 fifth, to get back to even for the day.
Sophomore Ayaka Suzuki joined Sorensen in the pack at 224 (+8) after shooting a final round 75 with birdies on holes 1 and 11.
Emelie Lundstrom's final round 72 moved her into a tie for 32nd place at 228. The Swede had two birdies and two bogeys over her final round.
Alison Lillie tied for 41st place at 230 (+14) after closing with a 79 on Tuesday.
USF will return to action on April 6 when the Dons join the field at the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic in Maricopa, Arizona.
