WSOC | Four Second Half Goals Spoil Dons Night

THE RUNDOWN
STOCKTON, Calif.  – The University of San Francisco women's soccer team sent three in the back of the net, but it would not be enough as host Pacific scored five goals on the evening, four in the second half, to win 5-3 on Friday evening at Knoles Field.

USF (5-9-2, 1-4-0 WCC) had a strong offensive evening, the three goals scored matches a season-high from the Dons' win over Oklahoma earlier in the year.  Junior defender Autumn Smithers got the Dons on the board with her first career goal in the 30th minute.

It didn't take long for Pacific (5-9-2, 2-3-0 WCC) to score the equalizer, knotting the game up at 1-1 less than a minute later.  Pacific matched the Dons goals quickly all evening, before scoring two of their four goals late in the second half to put the game away.

The Dons attack tallied 18 shots on the evening, eight on goal.  Miciah Madison tallied two second half goals to give her four on the year.  Olivia Camera faced 20 shots on the evening, she finished with seven saves.
