Dons Fall to Waves on Senior Day

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - The University of San Francisco women's soccer team (3-11-4, 2-7-2) wrapped up its 2025 season at home on the Hilltop by celebrating senior day on Saturday afternoon, but the Dons ultimately fell to Pepperdine, 1-0, at Negoesco Stadium.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT:
- Pepperdine grabbed a 1-0 lead when Tatum Wynalda scored in the 21st minute, assisted by Julia Quinonez.
- The Waves grabbed a 2-0 advantage on a goal from Quinonez in the 72nd minute, assisted by Ariana Salvador.
- Pepperdine went up 3-0 on Quinonez's second goal of the match, this time coming in the 74th minute off assists from Peyton Leonard and Wynalda.
- The Dons got on the scoreboard with in the 77th when Konstantina Konidaris found the back of the net, her first goal of the season. Kaitlyn Sasadeusz assisted the goal. The goal capped the scoring in the game as Pepperdine secured a 3-1 victory on Saturday.
- Lindsey Chau finished her career on the Hilltop with four shots against the Waves, marking the sixth time this season she has reached that mark.
- Kondaris' three shots were her first handful this fall, as well as her first points two points.
- Tyra Bengtsson-Stenseth tied her season and career-highs by collected eight saves for the Dons.
- San Francisco put six shots on goal, two of which came from Chau.
