The University of San Francisco men's basketball team begins the 92
nd season of Dons basketball when USF travels to Davis, Calif., to take on host UC Davis on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at The Pavilion. The Dons are coming of a 22-win season en route to a championship appearance in the CBI. Tuesday night's game will be streamed online at BigWest.tv. Pat Olson is back for his 28
th season calling Dons basketball. He will be joined by the Hall of Famer Jim Brovelli.

USF AT A GLANCE
- The Dons tip off against host UC Davis on Tuesday, beginning the 92nd season of USF Dons Basketball.
- USF will play host to 18 home contests in 2018-19, including home games against Arizona State and Stanford. The non-conference schedule will include five teams that went to the NCAA Tournament last season.
- Head coach Kyle Smith enters his third year on the Hilltop with a new contract. Following back-to-back 20-win seasons, Director of Athletics Scott Sidwell announced in July a multi-year extension that will keep Smith on the Dons' bench into the next decade.
- Coach Smith returns a loaded roster for another run at the post season. The Dons return 66% of their scoring from last year's team that won 22 games. Included in that list of returners is First Team All-WCC Honoree Frankie Ferrari. Other key returners include seniors Nate Renfro, Matt McCarthy, juniors Jordan Ratinho and Jimbo Lull and sophomore Charles Minlend.
- On Monday, the Dons announced an enhanced partnership with Entercom and 95.7 The Game. The Dons new home for men's basketball will be on 1550-AM the sister station to 95.7 The Game. All 29 USF Dons men's basketball games will appear on 1550-AM. Additionally, the Dons will have a weekly one hour radio show on Tuesday's from 7-8 p.m. on 1550-AM.
THE SERIES
The Dons and Aggies renewed their series last season after not facing each other since 1976. All-time the Dons own a 7-1 advantage in the series that dates back to the 1934-35 season. The Dons are currently riding a six-game winning streak against UC Davis that dates back to a 50-35 win in the 1941-42 season.
LAST GAME AGAINST THE AGGIES
The last time these two teams played was on Dec. 15, 2017 at War Memorial at the Sobrato Center. The Dons came away with the 74-61 win over the Aggies.
Frankie Ferrari led the Dons with 19 points, he also dished out a game-high five assists. The bench was the difference in the contest, as the Dons bench outscored the Aggies 31-15. Defensively, USF kept UCD's TJ Shorts to four points in 22 minutes of action.
