"The team fought hard today but could not overcome Sacramento State's solid round of 285," said head coach Sara Doell. "Regardless, to have two second place finishes in a row is still a remarkable feat for this program. The highlight for this team was Vanessa's win. She had a great performance finishing 211, a total of five under par and won this tournament for the second time in her college career. We will take the solid momentum into our last two regular season events."
