DONS AT A GLANCE:
- USF is looking to get going on their home field as the team has dropped its last two home matches when they took on Gonzaga and Santa Clara.
- Stepping up in goal for the Dons and starting the last three matches, Ybarra has performed well recording 20 saves through her last four matches played as the USF keepers are second in the WCC with 66 total saves on the season.
- A key piece of the USF attack throughout the season has been the steady play in the middle of the field from Marissa Vasquez who has played and started in all 14 of the Dons' matches this season. Vasquez is tied for third in the conference with six goals scored while ranking second on the Dons with 1,066 minutes played.
SCOUTING THE TIGERS:
- UOP enters Wednesday's match with a unique 5-1-9 overall record with just one defeat on the season to go along with a conference high nine draws on the year. The Tigers and Dons shared one mutual non-conference opponent this season as both teams defeated UC Davis earlier this year.
- On the offensive side of the ball, graduate student midfielder Jenae Packard has been a key piece of the Tigers' attack as she leads the team with 12 total points on the season as she's scored three goals and contributed six assists.
- In goal for UOP, senior Brenna Crump has been crucial for her team's defense as she's started all 15 matches and leads the conference by a wide margin with 82 saves on the season.
SCOUTING THE LIONS:
- LMU heads into this weekend's battle with six decisions and six draws on the season so far as the Lions have won three matches and dropped three in 2022. The only mutual non-conference opponent between the two programs is UC San Diego who drew with the Lions after the Dons defeated them in Southern California earlier this season.
- Leading the way for the Lions' attack has been the play of graduate student defender Jennessa Groves and freshman defender Alice Santen who both lead their team with a pair of goals this season.
- Starting in goal for LMU this season has been graduate student Amanda Delgado who has performed well this season allowing just eight toal goals this season to go along with 46 saves.
