DAVIDSON, N.C. - Closing out their week-long road trip with one final matchup, the University of San Francisco men's basketball team (6-0) will aim to keep their momentum going as the Dons will battle Davidson (5-1) at John M. Belk Arena on Friday afternoon.

DONS AT A GLANCE:

• Continuing their hot start to the regular season, USF took down Northern Iowa and Wichita State on Monday and Tuesday this week to win the 2022 Hall of Fame Classic in Kansas City. Notably, Khalil Shabazz and Tyrell Roberts earned All-Tournament honors while Shabazz was named tournament MVP. Impressively, the tournament victory marked USF's second straight Thanksgiving tournament crown after the Dons also won the Las Vegas Invitational in 2021.
• Through six games, USF is outscoring their opponents by an average of 9.8 points while also outrebounding their competitors by 4.9 rebounds. Defensively, the Dons are forcing 14.2 turnovers per game.
• Climbing the ranks with each win, USF currently ranks No. 87 overall in both KenPom and Bart Torvik rankings as of Nov. 24.    

SCOUTING THE WILDCATS:

• Fresh off of wins over South Carolina and Old Dominion, Davidson enters Friday's contest with their only loss coming at the hands of College of Charleston on Nov. 17.
• Dangerous in the backcourt, preseason all-conference selection Foster Loyer continues to lead Davidson in scoring (21.5 points per game) as he also ranks 23^rd nationally in this category.
• Protecting their home court in recent years, the Wildcats have won 58 of their last 66 games at home, including 15 of their last 16 dating back to last season. 

SERIES HISTORY:

• Friday's matchup between the Dons and the Wildcats will mark the second meeting all-time between the two programs. Last year, USF took down Davidson, 65-60, at Chase Center on Nov. 13, 2021.
