
Women's Golf Travels to New Mexico for Golf Iconic Classic

LAS CRUCES, N.M.– The University of San Francisco women's golf team heads to New Mexico to compete in the Golf Iconic Classic, their third tournament of the season, after a stellar finish at the Coeur d'Alene Collegiate last week.
The three-day event begins with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. (MT) on Monday, Oct. 9, followed by 8:30 a.m. (MT) shotgun starts on Tuesday, Oct. 10 and Wednesday, Oct. 11.

DONS AT A GLANCE:
- Last week, the Dons completed the Coeur d'Alene Collegiate in second place, shooting an eight-over-par 860 with (287-295-278). Eva Pett contributed to the green and gold's second-place finish by earning a second-place finish with a seven-under-par 206 (69-70-67).
- Toni Sottile tied for 11th place, finishing at one-over-par (70-76-68), followed by Hannah Zeman in 22nd place and Yu Shang and Riana Mission tying for 34th place to help aid the Dons.
- San Francisco finished in the top five last season at the Golf Iconic Classic, earning fourth place.
