SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Closing out its four-game homestand, the University of San Francisco women's soccer team (2-2) dropped a 6-1 decision to California (2-1-1) Sunday evening at Negoesco Stadium.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT:

Following a corner kick, California opened the scoring at the eight-minute mark, taking the early 1-0 advantage on a San Francisco own goal.
The Golden Bears tacked on two more first-half tallies as the team held a commanding 3-0 lead after the first 45 minutes of action.
The Dons cut the deficit to 3-1 in the 53rd minute when Olivia Lukrofka recorded her first goal of the season on a long-range free kick that found the back of the net from over 30 yards out.
Three unanswered goals from California throughout the rest of the second half solidified the win for the Golden Bears.

NOTABLE PERFORMANCES:

The Dons outshot the Golden Bears 12-11 while putting four on target. Lindsey Chau led the team with four shots, while Lukrofka put two on target.
Lukrofka scored her fourth-career goal and first of the season as she sent a long-range free kick past the goalkeeper Kelly McManus.
