SPOKANE, Wash. - The University of San Francisco women's soccer team (1-6-3, 0-2-1 WCC) could not overcome an early deficit on Saturday afternoon as Gonzaga (4-7-0, 2-1-0 WCC) rode early momentum to defeat the Dons, 2-0, at Luger Field.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT:

Emily Todd got the scoring started early, finding the back of the net just 3:45 into play on an assist from Amelia Severn.
Gonzaga took a 1-0 lead into the locker room as San Francisco did not record its first shot of the match until Lindsey Chau fired the team's first attempt on goal at 40:34.
Severn continued to have her way in the second half as the midfielder punched home her fourth goal of the year at 68:31, doubling up the Dons along the way.
Gonzaga would continue to fight off the USF attack throughout the remainder of the match as the Bulldogs picked up their second victory of WCC play with a 2-1 win on Saturday afternoon.

NOTABLE PERFORMANCES:

Bengtsson-Stenseth piled up seven saves for the Dons out of 19 total Bulldogs shots.
