
Aaron Palmberg Named Assistant Athletic Director, Ticket Operations And Sales

SAN FRANCISCO – University of San Francisco Director of Athletics Brent Blaylock has appointed Aaron Palmberg as the athletic department's Assistant Athletic Director of Ticket Operations and Sales. Palmberg will oversee strategic revenue generation, ticket promotions and sales campaigns, and overall sales leadership.
Palmberg has spent the last seven years associated with working with universities in California, having worked at Learfield - Saint Mary's Sports Properties since last October and the six years prior to that at the University of California, Berkeley.
"We are thrilled to add Aaron to our team on The Hilltop," said Blaylock. "Aaron's high-level background, knowledge of national best practices, and experience in collegiate athletics across multiple Bay Area campuses are very valuable as we enhance our ticketing capabilities. In addition, his emphasis on providing an incredible fan experience is critical as we prioritize positive and memorable engagements with our supporters and the San Francisco community."

While at Learfield – Saint Mary's Sports Properties, Palmberg managed and executed corporate partner sponsorship assets across digital, in-venue and experiential platforms, including signage, radio, print and in-game promotions, while serving as the primary liaison the Saint Mary's athletic department and the internal Learfield team members. He also assisted in managing 25–30 partners, supporting a $910,342 revenue portfolio for Saint Mary's Sports Properties and contributing to a 103.6% attainment of their 2025–26 season goal.

Prior to his time in Moraga, Palmberg worked at Cal from 2019 to 2025, first as a ticket solutions account executive before being promoted to assistant director of ticket operations. While in Berkeley, Palmberg oversaw gameday ticket operations, including box office management, ticket sales, will-call, customer service, gameday interns and ticket takers. He worked on ticket operations for sports like men's basketball, men's soccer, baseball and volleyball. Palmberg assisted in generating $1.8M revenue in men's basketball and $135K in baseball revenue
