USF Athletics Welcomes Ali White as Chief Revenue Officer

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - Director of Athletics Brent Blaylock and the University of San Francisco (USF) athletics department announced the hiring of Ali White as the department's new Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) for Athletics.
"Ali brings an impressive combination of experience in revenue generation and relationship building, along with a deep understanding of the national sports landscape," said Blaylock.Â

Her experience in college athletics and throughout the Bay Area will be tremendous assets as we look to create new revenue opportunities and enhance how we engage with the incredible San Francisco community. We are thrilled to welcome Ali to The Hilltop and have her lead this critical area for growth in our department."
White comes to USF with strong revenue experience across several Bay Area organizations and multiple high-level collegiate athletics departments, including Houston, Tulane, and California (Cal). With a background in corporate marketing, sales, and community partnerships, she has contributed to high-level fundraising and ticketing initiatives throughout her time in collegiate athletics.

Most recently, she served as the Associate Athletics Director, Major Gifts at Houston beginning in August 2024. During her time with the Cougars, White created, solicited, and launched the Nantz Leadership Society, the first major giving society for UH Athletics. She built a portfolio of 100+ diverse prospects through season ticket sales and discovery work, including solicitation of gifts of five figures and above with a focus on donors capable of six-figure commitments.
Prior to her stop at Houston, White worked as the Assistant Athletics Director, Major Gifts at Tulane from July 2022 to August 2024. She enjoyed notable success with the Green Wave, including leading athletics fundraising in FY23 with $2.6 million in commitments and only 10 months with a portfolio. White built and managed a portfolio of 100+ diverse prospective donors to shape fundraising goals and opportunities for Tulane. She also partnered to cement $45M in commitments launching the "Investing in Excellence" campaign.
From Aug. 2019 to July 2022, White served as the Associate Director, Leadership Annual Giving at Cal, where she partnered for $40M in capital funding, closing the Title IX gap for women's sports. She also managed a portfolio of 150+ diverse prospective donors while soliciting four- to seven-figure gifts. In total, White supported six varsity sports with fundraising efforts, raising over $4.6M. Notably, she recorded the highest annual fund results on record for four varsity programs during the COVID-19 pandemic.
