Cross Country Announces 2026 Schedule

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The University of San Francisco men's and women's cross country programs and Head Coach Jordan Carpenter have announced the schedule for the upcoming 2026 season.
"We're excited about the opportunities this schedule provides," Carpenter said. "It challenges our team against some of the best programs in the country, prepares us for championship racing, and gives our student-athletes the chance to compete at a high level throughout the season. We will head into the season with high expectations while returning a number of key contributors from a year ago. We are excited to see the continued growth of both programs."
The 2026 campaign starts at home when San Francisco hosts the 33rd annual USF Invitational at Golden Gate Park on September 4. On the women's side last season, the Dons dominated, earning four top-10 finishes with Anna Büttner securing first place in her first-career meet.
The opening month of the season concludes in Ceres, Calif., when the programs compete in the Kim Duyst Twilight Invitational on September 19.
Two high-end meets begin the final stretch of the regular season as the Dons head East to South Bend, Ind., to participate in the Joe Piane Invitational, hosted by Notre Dame, for the second time in four seasons, on October 2. The teams conclude the road trip at Texas A&M when it takes part in the Arturos Barrios Invitational on October 16.
Returning to the Bay on October 17, San Francisco competes in the final regular-season meet at the Bronco Invitational at Baylands Regional Park in Sunnyvale, Calif.
Postseason play begins on October 30 when San Francisco competes in the West Coast Conference Championship in San Diego, Calif.
