2015 CROSS COUNTRY: Competed in four meets during his first season on the Hilltop, taking 42nd at the USF Invitational with a time of 26:40.2 to open his freshman campaign...Finished 12th in the Boise State dual meet with a time o 26:55.6...Competed at the San Francisco State Invitational and finished the course in 26:27.2...Took 76th during his final meet of the year at the West Coast Conference Championships, completing the course in 29:39.3.

HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL: Ran varsity cross country all four years in high school...Team MVP and captain his senior year...Also was a four-year member of the varsity track and field team...Personal bests are 4:27 (1600m) and 9:35 (3200m)...Son of Mike and Michelle Cavassa...Coached by Pat King...Enjoys playing ultimate frisbee, hiking and biking in his free time.
