2019 (JUNIOR): Played in 18 games starting 15...made her USF debut on Aug. 27 in the 3-2 win over Hawaii...logged 1,180 minutes which was eighth most on the team...she played 90 or more minutes five times including a seasons-high 110 minutes in the 3-3 tie at Gonzaga on Oct. 12.
JUNIOR COLLEGE: The native of Las Vegas, Nev., joins the Dons after two stellar years playing for Peninsula College where she helped lead the Panthers to back-to-back Northwest Athletic Conference championship game appearances, culminating with a title in 2018...in her sophomore season, she anchored a defense that allowed only 10 goals all year, none coming during a three-game postseason run...Peninsula was the first time to accomplish that feat since 2008...following that successful run, she was named a NJCAA Division I First Team All-American, she also earned all-region honors as well as NWAC All-Academic honors...in the championship game against NWAC powerhouse Clark College, she tallied an assist that led to the game winning goal...for the year, she finished with two goals and two assists – both goals were game winning goals.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Prior to Peninsula College she was a four-time letter winner for Spring Valley High School where she also competed for the track and field team...her senior year, she was named the Student Athlete of the Year for the Grizzlies and was awarded All-Region honors. Watson played club soccer for the FC Warriors for head coach Ken Meechudhone from 2013-17...she led her club team to a State Championship in 2017 and was awarded the Presidents Cup Top-18 Players award.
PERSONAL: An excellent student she earning all-academic honors three times and was a member of the National Honors Society...plans on majoring in design at USF and following her athletic career would like to become a graphic designer...if she wasn't playing sports she'd be a photographer which is one of her biggest hobbies...Parents are Kristen and Bryan Watson, she has one sisters named Rachel...her favorite book is "The Hunger Games," favorite movie is "Parent Trap," and loves the television show "Gilmore Girls."
