2016 Track & Field: Competed five times for the Dons during the outdoor season … posted a season-best 3,000 meter time of 8:57.0 at the West Coast Quad Meet on Feb. 21 … turned in a third place finish at the Woody Wilson Classic on April 16, running the 1,500 m in 4:01.47 … ran a season best in the 1,500 to close the year with a time of 3:57.70 at the West Coast Last Chance on May 14.
2015 Cross Country: Began his Dons career with a 39th place finish at the USF Invitational with a time of 26:32.6...Competed at the Boise State dual meet and completed the course in 27:06.1 to take 14th.
High School and Personal: A two-time top-10 finisher at the Oregon Cross Country 6A State Championship...Named first-team all-state his junior year and second-team all-state as a senior...Competed in the Nike Cross Nationals his junior year...Personal bests are 1:58 (800m) and 4:08 (1500m)...His uncle, Steve Stageberg, ran cross country and track and field at Georgetown University...Son of Pamela and Brian Vik...Enjoys surfing, skateboarding and hiking in his free time.
