PERSONAL: Says that if she wasn't playing sports she'd be an artist...after graduations plans on entering the data science field...her hobbies include: sculpting, painting, and playing with her pet turtle Leo...if she could be anyone for a day she would like to be Ellen...her favorite book is "Before I Fall" by Lauren Oliver, favorite movie is "American Assassin," and says her favorite TV show is "The Office"...parents are Enrique and Deborah Diaz...has a younger brother named Drew...volunteers for the No Strings Attached program a food bank in Half Moon Bay that benefits the elderly, homeless and families of low income.

2019 (FRESHMAN):
- Played 13 games for the Dons and started three games, logging 504 minutes.
- Made her collegiate debut on Aug. 27 in a 3-2 win over Hawaii, she played 13 minutes in that contest.
- Mariah made her first collegiate start on Sep. 20 in a 1-0 win over Montana, where she played a season-high 66 minutes in that contest.
- Also played 66 minutes in the Dons overtime win over and on Oct. 19 at Pacific.
- Notched her first collegiate point on Sep. 15, an assist in the 58th minute of the Dons 2-1 loss at Northeastern.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB:
- Two-time letter winner for Notre Dame Belmont High School.
- helped guide the Tigers to a 24-10-4 overall record in her two seasons playing for Paul MacCallion.
- An ankle injury her sophomore year limited her to only a few games.
- In her senior season she helped guide her squad to an 11-7-1 record and tallied 14 goals.
- In the classroom, Diaz was the Scholar Athlete of the Year and was a Platinum Honor Roll (3.8+ GPA) honoree.
- Played club soccer or six years for coaches Gary and Carine Ireland of the PSV Union FC club team.
