CAREER HIGHLIGHTS AT SAN FRANCISCO:
  • Joined the San Francisco women's golf team as a volunteer assistant coach before the start of the 2022-23 season.
PERSONAL HIGHLIGHTS:
  • After high school, McGirr stayed in Las Vegas and joined the UNLV women’s golf team.
  • McGirr competed for the Rebels from 2004-2009 and was also named team captain, along with being named to the Academic All-MWC team two years in a row.
  • While playing for the Rebels, McGirr earned her Bachelors in kinesiology.
OTHER NOTABLES:
  • After college, McGirr went on to become a Certified Personal Trainer while also working various positions in the golf business.
  • While gaining hands-on teaching experience, McGirr also continued her education with various TPI, FMS, Trackman, and BodiTrak certifications along with observing and learning from some of the best instructors in the business. Combining her education of kinesiology with her golfing experience has helped her obtain the position of Golf Instructor at The Olympic Club in San Francisco, where she has worked for eight years. 
  • McGirr currently resides in San Bruno with her husband, Chris, and their two boys, Milo and Mason.
