- Helped lead San Francisco to an 8-4-5 record in 2023, which included two WCC Defensive Player of the Week and two WCC Offensive Player of the Week honors...Eric Waltz was named WCC Goalkeeper of the Year...Six Dons earned All-WCC honors, including two on the First Team (Gabriel Bracken Serra + Reid Roberts) and two on the All-Freshman Team (Chris Maldonado + Rylan Smith)...Waltz (Second Team), Bracken Serra (Third Team) and Roberts (Third Team) all earned United Soccer coaches NCAA Division I All-West Region honors...Upset No. 9 Stanford (2-1) on the road on Oct. 12, 2023 and upset No. 20 LMU (3-1) at home in San Francisco on Nov. 4, 2023...Finished second in the WCC in goals allowed - 16 goals in 17 total matches...Three Dons were named to the WCC Men's Soccer All-Academic Team: Roberts, Max Chretien, and Max Hamelink
- Took over the head coaching position and led the 2022-23 San Francisco Glens to a second-place finish in the Northwest division, which included winning their group in Maryland at the MLS Next Flex tournament...Led this group to the national round of 16 in the MLS Next playoffs
- Boasts coaching experience at the junior college and Division II levels...Spent three nonconsecutive years as an assistant at Foothill JC, where he was involved in two Final Fours...In fall 2021, Rix served as an assistant coach for the U19 San Francisco Glens MLS team that went to the finals of the MLS Next playoffs...In the summer of 2022, Rix was assistant coach of the San Francisco Glens USL 2 team, who reached the Western Conference Finals as a top 16 team in the country
