Hall of Fame
Raymond Darrell Gennette was born on June 16, 1920 in Petaluma. As a USF student, he was a member of the Block Club, Alpha Sigma Nu, and the Saint Ives Law Society. He played football for the Dons and captained the team in 1942. He graduated from USF in the Class of 1943 with a Degree in History. After USF, he served during World War II in the United States Army from 1943 to 1947 at the rank of Major. His post-war service was in the Army National Guard. After his military service he joined Chevron and eventually became the Manager of Community Affairs. He was an active member of the Green and Gold Club Board from 1994 to 1997.
He was inducted into the USF Hall of Fame in 1990.
