Raymond Charles Peterson was born on June 27, 1913, in Fort Bragg, CA and attended his local Fort Bragg High School, where he was in the Drama Club. At 6’ 0” 190 lbs., he played as a tailback for USF from 1933 to 1937.
Peterson was drafted by the Green Bay Packers and played one season with them in 1937. He was inducted into the USF Hall of Fame in 1989.
