USF AT A GLANCE
LAST TIME OUT
The Dons led for 39:39 in the forty point rout of visiting William Jessup last Friday.  The Dons unloaded the bench with every player in uniform scoring a bucket as USF won their third-straight 87-47.  The Dons had four in double figures and for the first time were led by someone other than Ioanna Krimili. Julia Nielacna had a game-high 15.

GUNNING FOR FOURTH IN A ROW
USF enters Tuesday's game riding a three-game winning streak - should the Dons pull of the win over Sacramento State on the road it will be the second-best winning streak of the Goodenbour era.  USF won five-straight Thus. Feb. 16, 2017 - Thur. Mar. 2, 2017.

OFFENSE/DEFENSE
The Dons offense kept up its torrid pace when they scored 87 in the win over William Jessup.  The Dons are averaging 81 points per game which ranks 39th in the nation.  On defense, USF is surrendering 74.6 points which ranks 262nd.  The Dons are 17th in the nation in 3-point field goals per game (9.5) and 17th in 3≠point field goal percentage (40.9).

A WIN WOULD MEAN...
• The Dons extend their winning-streak to four games.
• Improve the Dons to 2-2 on the road.
• USF will improve to 57-73 under Goodenbour.
• USF would improve to 4-1 in December this season and 18-13 in December in the Goodenbour era.
• Extend its winning-streak against Sacramento State which currently stands at five games.
• Improve to 4-2 on the year.

TAKING CARE OF THE BALL
The Dons are 2-1 when they have fewer turnovers than their opponent this season.  USF is one of the nation's better teams at taking care of the ball.  They currently rank 68th in assist/turnover ratio at 1.04.  They are 65 in turnovers per game and second in the WCC averaging 14.2 turnovers per contest.  Against William Jessup the Dons committed just 11 turnovers compared to the Warriors 21.

THE SERIES
The Dons are 12-5 all-time against Sacramento State and are currently riding a five-game winning streak.  The series dates back to the 1991-92 season when USF defeated the Hornets 71-50 at War Memorial at the Sobrato Center.  Last time out, USF defeated the Hornets 87-82 on Dec. 14, 2019 at home.  In that game, the Dons had two players record double-doubles led by former Don Mikayla Williams 29 points and 15 rebounds.

SCOUTING REPORT: SACRAMENTO STATE
Sacramento State enters Tuesday's contest with an 0-4 record and are 0-2 in the Big Sky.  At home they are 0-2 falling in back-to-back contests to Nevada.  As a team, they are averaging 64.3 points per game while surrendering 78.5 points per contest.  If anyone can sympathies with the Hornets its USF – Sacramento State is working with a depleted bench this year, only eight players have seen action this season, with three players averaging over 30 minutes a contest.  Leading the team in scoring is junior guard Summer Menke.  The native of Scottsdale, Ariz., is averaging 15.5 points per game, she is one of three
