SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The University of San Francisco men's and women's cross country teams return to the Bay Area when it competes in the SF State Invitational on Friday, Oct. 6, at Golden Gate Park.

- Last week, the women's program traveled to South Bend, Ind., and earned a 14th-place finish at the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational.
- Yasmine Abbes led the way for the Dons in the 5,000-meter race, nearly breaking her previous best, crossing the finish line in 25th place with a time of 17:06.0.
- Natalie Hlusi shined for the Dons in her second race of the season, earning a personal best time of 17:34.1 with a 50th-place finish.
