Cross Country Opens 2023 Season at USF Invitational

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The University of San Francisco men's and women's cross country teams open the 2023 campaign at home when it hosts the 30th annual USF Invitational on Friday, Sept. 1, at Golden Gate Park.
The annual event attracts top programs from around the Bay Area to Hellman Hollow, beginning the 2023 cross country season in one of the most picturesque venues in the nation.

- The men finished in third place, with Ed Buck earning a second-place finish out of 126 competitors with a time of 25:01.3.
- Buck and Grace Copeland were named to the 2023 WCC Cross Country Preseason Teams and look to lead the program to new heights this season.
