PALM SPRINGS, Calif. - Participating in their second tournament in a week, the University of San Francisco men's golf team wrapped up play at The Prestige on Wednesday afternoon at Greg Norman Course at PGA West.

TOURNAMENT RESULTS:

Beginning the tournament with 18 holes on Monday, Feb. 19, Jakob Melin was the highest-ranking Don after day one as the sophomore fired a 71 to sit at even par, which tied him for 37th.
Moving into Tuesday, Melin improved by firing a 69 across his second round to sit at 2-under (71, 69/140) as he climbed into a tie for 25^th individually.
Rounding out the action with another 71, Melin finished in a tie for 30th as he shot 2-under-211 (71, 69, 71) to place as the top-ranking individual for the green and gold.
Notably, Jackson Rothwell tied for 85th overall at 7-over-220 (74, 71, 75), Ben Partridge tied for 104th at 11-over-224 (73, 75, 76), Brian Park tied for 114th at 17-over-230 (75, 78, 77) and Harry Brown finished 120th at 21-over-234 (74, 78, 82).

UP NEXT:
San Francisco will take the next few weeks off to regroup as the Dons will return to play at the General Hackler Championship (hosted by Coastal Carolina) at Dunes Gold and Beach Club in Myrtle Beach, S.C. from Monday, Mar. 18 through Wednesday, Mar. 20.
