MRYTLE BEACH, S.C. - Returning to play for the first time in four weeks, the University of San Francisco men's golf team will aim to get back in their groove this week as they compete at the General Hackler Championship at The Dunes Golf & Beach Club from Monday, Mar. 18 through Wednesday, Mar. 20.

DONS AT A GLANCE:
- After a few weeks off to rest and recover, San Francisco return to action to begin the week at The Dunes Golf & Beach Club, which is home to the 2024 PGA Myrtle Beach Classic coming up from May 9-12.
- Heading into the tournament, the Dons currently sit at No. 82 in the NCAA Division I rankings by Scoreboard. With another postseason appearance this spring, the green and gold would appear in postseason play for the fourth consecutive year. Individually, Jakob Melin is the highest ranked student-athlete for USF at No. 180.
- Set to face another loaded field, San Francisco will battle against four teams who have previously won this tournament: East Tennessee State (2006, 2010, 2023), North Florida (2012, 2015, 2019), Coastal Carolina (2005) and Kent State (2013). Notably, ETSU (15) and North Florida (28) are both ranked in the top 30 of the latest NCAA Division I rankings by Scoreboard. Additionally, Mats Edge (ETSU/7) and Nicholas Gabrelchik (North Florida/8) are the highest ranked individuals according to Scoreboard.
